Pierre-Emmanuel Martin-Vivier

PIERRE-EMMANUEL MARTIN-VIVIER holds a doctorate in art history. He taught at the Sorbonne, before devoting himself to writing monographs on the works of Jean Royère, Jean-Michel Frank and Max Ingrand. An expert recognized for his work on subjects such as the decorative arts, Alberto Giacometti and surrealism, he participates in numerous conferences and writes reference articles. He joined Christie's London in 2010 as a specialist in the Impressionist and Modern Art department, and he was then appointed to Christie's Paris as Director of 20th Century Arts in 2015.
