Maurice Culot
For forty years, visionary architect and critic Maurice Culot has brought his love of the 1920s and 1930s to life in constructions and books that aim for an architectural and urban renaissance inspired by the best achievements of the first half of the 20th century. In order to share his enthusiasm and encourage research and vocational work on what he considers to be a golden age, he has built up important documentary collections and produced numerous exhibitions and publications as part of the Archives of Modern Architecture and the Foundation for Architecture in Brussels, and within the French Institute of Architecture in Paris. He pursues his activities between Brussels and Paris, notably from his Parisian agency Styles Architects.
